PC电性能： 聚碳酸酯的分子极性小、玻璃化转变温度高、    吸水性低，因此具有优良的电绝缘性能，接近或相对于向来被认为电绝缘性能优良的PET。聚碳酸酯的电绝缘性与温度、湿度、电场频率和制品厚度密切相关。

PC耐老化性和耐燃性 聚碳酸酯的耐热老化性能也相当好，若将其薄膜放置空气中长时间加热，其性能变化很小。聚碳酸酯是可燃的，火焰呈淡、冒黑烟；氧指数仅25%，离开火焰自熄。一般加入卤化物、三氧化二锑、氢氧化镁、磷酸和红磷等改性提高阻燃性。
