PC耐老化性和耐燃性 聚碳酸酯的耐热老化性能也相当好,若将其薄膜放置空气中长时间加热,其性能变化很小。聚碳酸酯是可燃的,火焰呈淡、冒黑烟;氧指数仅25%,离开火焰自熄。一般加入卤化物、三氧化二锑、氢氧化镁、磷酸和红磷等改性提高阻燃性。
PC电性能: 聚碳酸酯的分子极性小、玻璃化转变温度高、 吸水性低,因此具有优良的电绝缘性能,接近或相对于向来被认为电绝缘性能优良的PET。聚碳酸酯的电绝缘性与温度、湿度、电场频率和制品厚度密切相关。

Polycarbonate is combustible, the flame is light yellow and black smoke; the oxygen index is only 25%, and it will self extinguish when leaving the flame. Generally, halide, antimony trioxide, magnesium hydroxide, phosphoric acid and red phosphorus are added to improve the flame retardancy.
